Adorned Afterlife was established in 2024 by me, Dani. As a lover of nature, I have nurtured a deep appreciation for all living creatures, regardless of their size, since childhood. My summers were often spent at my grandparents' home, where I would rescue insects from the pool, observe the development of tadpoles in the pond, search for newts in the woods, investigate the undersides of stones for isopods and explore the great outdoors. I specialize in creating semi-realistic displays that celebrate nature and entomology, designed to be treasured by others. My artwork incorporates real plants, insects, bones, and various organic materials, with a strong commitment to sustainability. The plants I utilize are either collected and preserved by me or sourced from small businesses that cultivate their own florals. The insects featured in my displays are either collected by me, found deceased due to natural causes, hand-raised and allowed to pass naturally, or obtained from insect conservation organizations dedicated to preserving biodiversity.
